Chris selected for NDSEG Graduate Fellowship!

Chris Hennighausen, a Physics Ph.D. student in the Disa Lab, has been selected as an awardee for the 2024 DoD National Defense Science and Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship Program. The prestigious fellowship provides funding for Chris’ doctoral research focused on developing methods to characterize mode-resolved heat transport through interfaces. His research which will impact our ability to make future high-performance and high-efficiency electronic devices.

Established in 1989, the NDSEG Fellowship Program is a competitive fellowship aimed to support training in science and engineering disciplines vital to national security. Chris was one of 162 awardees from 69 universities in the United States this year. Congratulations Chris on receiving this exciting award!
